About Christina

I didn't come to this work through a textbook. I came through loss — the kind that arrives fast and stays. I was twenty years old, in one of those seasons that changes us before we understand how. In the middle of it I dedicated a final school project to the people I lost — and in the process of creating it, I discovered something that changed the direction of everything: that making something with your hands can hold what your mind cannot. Art, not words, met me there. And I've spent the rest of my life learning to offer that same meeting place to others

"I understood then that art therapy is therapy. Not a softer version of it, not an alternative to it — the real thing, in its most honest form."

That knowing has guided everything since. Over more than twenty years, I have had the privilege of sitting with people from age six to seventy — children still learning to name their feelings, adults carrying grief and transition and confusion they'd been holding for decades. What I have witnessed again and again is this: when we give our inner world a form — color, texture, image, mark — something shifts. The emotion that was creating dis-ease finds a place to land. The confusion that had been circling finds an edge, a shape, a beginning of clarity.

Expressing what lives inside us — the grief, the uncertainty, the unnamed restlessness — creates space. And in that space, something extraordinary becomes possible: a foundation. A place to stand. A clearer sense of what the next step might be, even when the whole path isn't visible yet.

That is the how of this work. Not insight handed down from a therapist's chair. Not analysis or interpretation. But the lived, felt, creative experience of moving what's stuck — and discovering that on the other side of expression is a kind of knowing you couldn't have thought your way to.

This is not magic. It is the body doing what it has always known how to do, when we finally give it permission. At CK Creative Wellness I bring the full depth of that training into a space without the clinical walls around it.

What you can expect

Somatic awareness woven through everything — learning to read the felt sense, the body's quiet pre-verbal knowing, as the compass it has always been

Expressive art-making as the primary language — not to create something beautiful, but to give form to what's moving inside you

A steady, grounded presence — I show up genuinely enthusiastic about your process and rooted enough that you can afford to take risks

Private pay, no insurance — not a limitation, but a choice to keep the work fully present to you, without clinical structure between us

I work with adults navigating life's transitions — the crossroads moments, the chapters that are ending, the selves that are ready to emerge. I work with seekers and creatives and the quietly restless. I work with anyone willing to show up and see what their hands already know.

You do not need to know how to draw. You never did.
