I studied Fine Arts in Washington D.C. and moved home to New England when two high school friends passed suddenly. I worked through that grief and subsequent losses by finding and using my creative spirit.
In doing so, I discovered the healing process of the Expressive Arts and pursued my Masters Degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I received my LMHC in 1999, and began my clinical practice with adults.
Later, I found the rewards of working with adolescents in the arts. In 2009, I left clinical practice and began teaching visual arts in public school. This adventure confirmed the access to healing through creativity, for me.
I have chosen to combine both of those worlds with my personal journey and share the thrill of living with no regrets. Join me!
